Ritter or Senior Market Sales

I thought Senior Marketing Specialists (the other SMS) was good, until I discovered some wanky things also involving hidden FMOs in their contracts. If you ever do sign up with an FMO, demand the heirarchy be fully disclosed before signing.

Good point. At the end of the day there really aren't many true FMO's. Integrated Benefits and Senior Market Sales are both true FMO's. Usually with folks like Senior Marketing Specialists they have nothing more than good GA contracts and really don't bring much value to the table. An agent that wants to do well for themselves should work with a major player with big boy contracts. If in doubt, call the carrier and ask if they are direct or who their up-line is.

On that same point, when I was working for a carrier recruiting agents and agencies we'd talk to some agencies and ask them if they were interested in an FMO contract. We'd get a funny response, they'd say "I'm already an FMO with your company". They were incorrect, what had happened was the actual FMO had given them a contract and called it an "FMO" contract.

I had a multi-FMO contract (that I knew nothing about) and found out PSM was the upline to the other FMO (Pinnacle Financial Services). I knew PFS was the upline, but didn't know about PSM being involved. To make a long story short, PSM told me they would try to help me get a release from PFS when PFS became unsavory, but it wasn't until I got the carrier involved that the issue was finally resolved. I am now direct with that carrier. PSM seemed to understand my plight and talked like they would help, but they just spun their wheels for 6 months.

I recommend everyone stay away from PFS, but PSM MAY offer pre-nups... not sure if any pre-nup is worth the paper its written on...... best advice is go direct if at all possible.

I'm curious about Pinnacle Financial...Just received an e-mail from them to contract through them for Monumental's lead system...Should I be wary? Thanks in advance..Tony

If I were you I would contract Monumental through Ritter. He is known to be good and has the same lead program.

Not to jump in on this thread here now, but SMS is all I know of the two (I don't have first hand knowledge of Ritter). I had my MoO contract and a couple ma companies through SMS. They got me a good contract and are very fair to work with. When I chose to leave and get a different contract, they released me just like I asked that they would in the beginning. They did something that most FMO's don't do - do what they say. That means a lot in this business.

Looks like Insurance Exec is properly working the board. How many folks are fronting for him?;)

I don't work for anyone. I'm just an ILIAA member, and I know that they sent me over a contract from Next Generation.

Thought I was being helpful by answering a question.

Not trying to shill for anyone.

AmerAssure marketing has suited me well and gave me a release upon my request immediately. I'm very happy with those guys...
