Sneak Peaks and Rumors

"Thanks for the info. Chazm had put the same on another thread. Not much else to choose from here in the panhandle then UHC, for right now."

Well, Florida Blue will still see lots of action in the Panhandle but seems like nobody (around here) talks about them since it's a captive game.

Humana Fl. rppo: cost 0
moop in network: 6700
moop oon: 10k
in/out deductible $975
rx ded. 200
pcp 15/60
spec 50/60
hosp. 425 days 1-4
Inpatient OON
$495 per day (Days 1 - 27)
outpatient surgery $390.

no thanks on selling this plan. I'll sell uhc over this all day

Do you know what benefits are subject to the $975 deductible?

Can't tell from the spreadsheet, knowing these companies its probably out patient surgery.

For just over a buck a day and the best network in the Panhandle, do you really think many folks are going to move from FL Blue (here in the Panhandle)?

There may a few that move in the panhandle but the only change besides the premium is $100 deductible on drugs, but all the copays stay the same. The new HMO is lacking the network in the panhandle, have a few but not like the RPPO.

Stone it all depends on the network but from where I sit, there is a lot of complaining of Fl. Blue in my backyard.
UHC will be a strong player this year in our area. The ppo is zero cost with a $200 deductible on tier 3 and up drugs.
When you go dollar for dollar, uhc will be better then blue
