I have thought about doing this. If you took the appt setter in the field with you on a few appts, I wonder if he/she would learn a lot and become more effective on the phone. Once upon a time I used to train agents in a captive agency. I would train them on the phone and then we would run the appointments, I would drive, sell, teach... and we would split the sale 50/50. The new agents really had a great deal, and my deal was okay, I like teaching and making sales. After a while though it seemed like what I had was an expensive appointment setter.
