What Happens when You FLUNK the AHIP?

This actually did happen to an agent that I know. Will she get a second chance?
According to the rules she's unable to market 2018 MA and PDP plans. However, she should contact AHIP at 866-234-6909 to discuss additional options (this tip is recommended in the certification guidelines for HCSC).
 
You get 3 tries per enrollment and can enroll at least two times so that's a total of 6 tries, has she used all of those?

This isn't true for all carriers. Some (Humana for instance) require you to pass AHIP within your first 3 attempts otherwise you are out for that plan year.
 
She has only used up 3 attempts.
She really should have used her phone a friend lifeline after attempt two. All the agents I work with know if you don't pass after strike two, do not take the third attempt without help. Hopefully a call to AHIP may give her options. This is a good cautionary tale for newer agents, though.
