Williamson Group Agency for FE

Anyone have any experience with The Williamson Group Agency based out of Ohio for Final Expense? I think they also operate under Superior Marketing.

I haven't seen anything on this site about them. Their website looks descent and they have a video about the whole program. Several different leads available with the lowest contracts at 70% or 80%. Obviously the goal is to take a higher contract and actually produce!

I have been reading on this site for a year, or so now, and most of the information that I find is helpful here.

If you have been learning from the forum I would contract under one of the people you like off of here. Mark Rosenthal, Brad Aden, Equita all have good contracts and reviews.

The chance that your unknown agency knows any more than you can learn in 1-month is very slim.

Why aren't you just getting your own contracts? If you're interested in a lead system and FE I have something very interesting kicking off in a few weeks. If you send me your number I can give you a call about it.

Thanks for all of the input so far guys. I've been in the business for 11 years now, but I'm captive and multi-line. Along with P&C I have experience in life insurance planning and retirement planning with the families I serve. Really there isn't an insurance product I can't currently sell. However, I have been pondering for a few years now about focusing more on the senior market but doing it as an independent. This will allow me to become more of a specialist and focus on a niche. I have been drawn to FE, med supps, and med advantage as a focus. As you all know, there is a ton of information on this site, so I am trying to make heads or tails of all of it and make the best decision possible. I will be starting over a bit doing this, and I don't want to mess around playing games with an IMO/FMO or agency that just wants to jerk me around. I just want fair contracts, good lead source, a bit of mentorship or training if needed, and to stay independent.

I appreciate the comments!

From what I've seen, Hoosier Daddy and J Deasy are go to guys for FE.

Frank Stastny is a name I've seen a lot in regards to Med Supps.

I agree that is what we all want. I really just meant that I would be willing to give up some commission for a great lead source and some support. I just don't want 100% plus contracts with no one to sell to, or paying $35 for each lead. You know what I mean....just fair...doesn't have to be 115% and $11 leads. That would be okay though!
:)
I double checked and the website is williamsongroupagency dot com (sorry, I havn't made enough posts to place an url)

If they are a crap shoot, no big deal, I'll move on to research the next one. Just thought I'd put the feelers out. You guys are the experts in this area, so I trust that I can get some good advice. Thanks again.

Brent Williamson is the owner. I contracted through him for Monumental close to a year ago. We bought his press 1 leads and they do what all press 1 leads do, basically they were decent not great or terrible. We were just in the phase of deciding if we were going to go the FE route. He promised leads and delivered. He has since merged with another FE IMO or FMO whatever they are called. He is good guy and was easy to get ahold of (semmed like one of the good guys). I don't know much about the company he merged with.

Hey Eddie, how good were his other lead sources? Direct Mail, Pre-Set Appts, etc.? Also, did they provide you with any kind of training or guidance?

It is nice to hear that at least someone has some experience with them. For awhile, they advertised a lot in my area.

I work with Brent and he is the real deal...does what he says...hard to find....you probably can get a better contract...lower contracts just started after the merge.
