Is It Worth to Get Licensed in NY State?

I am considering to get licensed in NY State. My interest are MAPD and particularly Medigap. I've noticed that there are very few Medigap vendors in NY State. Any explanation for that?

Any reason why it DOES NOT make sense to look for Senior Market in NY State.

Any suggestions?

Yes. It probably is a bad idea.

It's GI all day every day and people rarely switch their supp (the city may be different).

Unless you come in with a niche. If you plan on selling a traditional Plan F, it will be hard. If you market a High Ded Plan F to save people a ton of money, there is a chance. But you would have to sell hundreds(or thousands) of policies to make any real money.
