Writing United and Commisions

Kyle, I am honestly offended. I work with social workers, reverands, senior advocates, Dr.s know me, etc. Maybe if you actually cared about your clients and thier communities ... success in this field wouldn't be such a shock. Consider this, you have the power to really help people who are confused with a fragmented healthcare system. I am a Medicare Advantage Specialist, I can help people get into 75% of the plans available to them. You do realize I am currently contracted with;

Coventry
Secure Horizons
WellCare
Aetna
Bravo
American progressive
EverCare
HealthNet
Humana
AmeriChoice
Unicare ... etc

and no thank you guys I want to work with an FMO directly for United...

Offended at what? I apologize.

It must have been my sarcastic humor.
Come on now, you were claiming, at least for a minute there, that you currently run 12 appts a day for 3 days a week all off of cold calling. Any agent whose been doing this for more than a month knows that is impossible unless you are doing group seminars or are not doing justice to your presentations.

I am also appointed with those carriers and live in a metro area just south of you...and there is no way I can get that many appointments. The reason I stick to 4-5 per day is so that I can service my clients properly and not just mass-sell health insurance.

Sorry if I offended you, seriously. But give us seasoned agents a little credit, too.

This may be a good point to "stick a fork" in this thread and call it "done".

So, what do you guys think about them there Cardinal's? I had a lot of them at the bird feeder last winter. Pretty little things aren't they?

I prefer American gold finches...much prettier.

alright ... I have 4 appointments for tomorrow off of this and did not get the original info I was seeking ... Kyle, please how does Ritter Agency pay ? 7-10 days, monthly after 3 months ? and I'll give you guys a little advice; the people that most need our services are the poor ... income under 20k per year.

Ritter doesn't pay...you get paid directly from the carriers according to the carriers schedule.

Why do you think the low income seniors need us more than the middle income?

because every dollar counts more for them ... if a drug isn't on their formulary they pay full price or they can't afford $40 to see a specialist, or they can't afford a monthly premium ... they have a slew of problems sometimes and really need educated advice and direction.

and guys I call people the first month they are into the program and the 3rd month to make sure they're doing well and still on the books, which I would advise you guys to do too also.

so there you guys have it ... my secret to success!!! Youre Welcome (stay out of My Markets)
