Mostly any group DI policy will cover prego...However on the Indy market it is not covered in some states...

Well, the DI will cover pregnancy but....

First off, the DI will only kick in if the women being pregnant has complications and can not work due do that and that must be back up by the physician. Such as Bedrest being ordered, now the complication has to last longer than the elimination period, most are 30 for STDI and 90 is average for DI and individual policy. Likely a pregnancy in most cases will not trigger a DI payout.
