It's for when I do an online enrollment of one of their products. Anybody using these?

Can they be used for other companies/products?

I know it's Plug N Play device. Is it really that simple to use?

I could tell you all about it, but you would disagree and curse me. Find out for yourself like I did.

I will tell you there is no paper copy for you. You better keep their medicare info for yourself.

The Pad works great, but see the last guy's post for the problem: There is no paper copy and you CANNOT retrieve the application later for review. Yes you can use it with other programs that support it.

Yep. I found that out. I told them that's why I won't be using it. Good thing I didn't have to pay for it.

Rabbi, you were right, and I was not going to go off.

Truce.

I scribble the information down on a paper app but then do the actual enrollment on the signature pad. Then I enter everything into YIO and I'm good to go.

Yes no paper can be a draw back if you don't know to keep your member info. I luv electronic processing though. Sign up for the producer portal to view your apps progress through UHC.

I'm just doing the paper apps this year.

Next year, in the month of November, I will do the signature pad, and do the paper back up.

Buy a portable printer that works on batteries and/or uses AC power. I've been meaning to do that forever and will probably pull the trigger on it soon. I've found some good deals on Craig's List in the past.

Print the thing, have them sign it, scan it later and append it to the app I filled out with Adobe Pro. Voila!
