St. Louis Fools!             Go to Top

Can you imagine the NFL and the city of St. Louis rejected Limbaugh as a part owner of the St Louis Rams? How many thousands of Limbaugh #1 Rams jerseys would have been sold? 20,000,000 instant fans can't be all bad.

And of course the fine upstanding citizen Jesse Jackson was there to protest, a true upstanding citizen who used funds from his non-profit to pay off a mistress.

Leave it to the Brits to get it straight:

The Rush Limbaugh media lynch mob – Telegraph Blogs

Now that Rush has millions of dollars to invest, and no place to invest it, I fully suspect that he will commence lawsuits regarding the above referenced defamation.

Having been denied an opportunity to participate in the purchase, and having been kicked off the group so quickly, as a result of an avalanche of liberal attacks citing facts that were fiction, Rush can demonstrate tangible montary damages. That is the stuff defamation litigation needs to hit home - slanderous statements in print (defamation) combined with financial losses arising from those statements.

I wonder what Rush will do with MSNBC after he owns it?

Nobody will play for him, the man is a bigot who spews hatred hour after hour, day after day. The Rams may sell 20 billion jerseys but they wouldnt have a winning. A man like that needs to stay in the margins of society.

I think many people have formed opinions of him based on other people's opinions of him which were unwarranted. I also think that Chris Matthews is simply desperate for ratings.

Wasn't it Chris Matthews who said he wanted to stick a CO2 cartridge in Rush's mouth and blow his head off? Gee, how do I know that? BECAUSE I HEARD HIM SAY IT. Unlike others who take their quotes third hand from people with their own lying agendas.

Suppose Rush said the same thing about anyone on the left? The howls would be everywhere.

We have come to the point in this country where conservative white guys are fair game for any lie or insult and are supposed to just roll over and take it. Rush is going to shove back for once. Good.

As for the "hatred he spews" -GIVE ME JUST ONE EXAMPLE -- and I don't mean a lie from a left-wing blog.

You can't do it because a) you never bother listening to what he actually says, and b) he doesn't spew hatred.

The idea that football players boycott teams because they don't like the political views of owners is laughable. Football players make decisions based upon three things: money, money and money.

And you are discounting the fact that the charges of racism leveled at Rush are legitimate - they are not. Which in the end is why I think Rush has to sue unless he never wants to purchase an asset where that purchase can be blocked by the protest of liberals who spread lies about his character.

Jesse Jackson. Sheesh that would be the cat calling the kettle black. Whoops. Was that racist? Or just anti-cat?

This would be the same Jesse Jackson of Hymie Town fame and who worships (along with Obama and the Rev) Louis Farrakin, the number one, most venomous racist in this country. Apparently he did not feel those comments and actions disqualified from running for President of the United States.

I dont know what Rush said and didnt say but in this age of youtube we generally see what people are complaining about. Has anyone located a recording of Rush saying the alleged or no? If not, hello lawyers. Yes, free speech etc but the First Amendment does protect one from libel or slander even if the accused is a public figure.
