Anyone heard of Standard Marketing Services out of Clarksville, GA?. A friend of mine has an opportunity to contract with them writing UL, FE and TL policies with Foresters. The gist of this marketing company is that it was the first one that ever created the first response lead card. This was the creation of Randy Murray and Doug Skelton where these flyers that are purchased by the agents to a tune of .04 each minimum 25K are to be paid by the agent to be inserted into local newspapers, etc.

Do a search for Randy Murray and you'll find all the info you need not to go there...lol

I am looking at marketing foresters stuff as an IMO for them anyone have any comments about their products or service or the company in general?

Thanks TRK, I see, I read, I choose to stay away. My friend I think is already a goner, Skelton has got him hyped up to the hilt. Will find out today after the meeting he attended in Atlanta.

I was using response lead cards as a rookie agent for Transamerica back in1978. I am pretty sure we didn't invent the idea. I think some version of it has been around in the insurance industry since the days of the Pony Express.
