Did you folks get a Federal ID or just use SS#?

If you use your SS# do you still get all the tax advantages?


If you use a name "Johns health agency" Do you need to report the name to the insurance board?

You can use you social and go sole proprietor. You won't need any more than that unless you're hiring employees. In MD you need to file a trade name with the DOI.
