I just wanted to share some of my experiences with new agents in the industry.

I started out in late febuary with mutual of omaha and it has been great so far... everything that's been promised to me has happened . i never thought it would have been this easy.

I never had to cold call once becuase management gives me a bunch of orphan policy owners to call.

These people always want to see you. (usually older folks.)
There pay is pretty decent you get 50% plus another 70% plus another 29%. seems pretty good to me.

Im avreaging about 1,200-2,000/week just with policy owners.

No expenses accept gas.

Im only 20 and on pace to 84k first year..

Just wanted to share some of my expiriences with newbies

If you guys have questions let me know

That is great. One of the keys to making it is enjoying what you do. MOO is a great company with lots of name recognition, especially in the senior market. Many of them will remember Marlon Perkins Wild Kingdom.

And it is good you can relate to that market. Most folks in their 20's don't have the patience or even desire to cater to that market.

Keep up the good work.

Congratulations on a great start.

This business tends to be more of a marathon than a sprint, so a couple of months is not enough to come to any conclusions. I'd be curious to see the results after the first year.

Blue skies to you!

He once got in to a tight spot...just to see how it felt. He also lives vicariously...through himself.

Did your manager "promise" you that the orphans never run out?

First of all, I'm not "your dude". Second of all, I'm doing fine without your "pitch" to get people to increase their coverage. I just doubt that you're as effective as you say you are with orphan policies.

If you were, you wouldn't be so defensive. Supposedly no one's competing with your orphans, so get the stick out of your @ss.

I would think that the fact that they are existing clients, and leveraging MOO's brand, which they already bought into, it makes sense that it is somewhat easy to get in front of them. Now my question is are you able to replace increase there policy without increasing premiums? That might involve some selling. Congrats on your forst few months though.
