Is anyone doing one or both of these things? I am told that it would be smart to do both. When I read the reviews of the encrypted external hard drives, they seem to have a fairly short lifespan.
I have some bonus $ to spend at Dell, where I could get one of those, or, anything else.
My CRM is HIPAA compliant in cloud storage. Radius Bob. I have encrypted my phone, and I think my new laptop (Dell XPS13), will check.
The only need I would have is redundancy for documents and photos.
The encrypted drives with keypad security are over $200 for 500GB.
