I am sorry that we did not have an agent in your local area that is using Compulife.
Agents are given 2 free zip code listings if they are a subscriber, and their "home zip code" is given a priority over outsiders.
ONLY if zip codes do not have three locally listed agents do we allow those from outside the zip code to purchase listings there. We insist that such agents publish toll free numbers and users of the site are advised that toll free numbers indicate the agent is NOT in the local area.
Personally, if I had to choose, I would still prefer an agent who uses Compulife, who is outside my local area, over a local agent who does not use Compulife. But then I am biased.

I would be happy to discuss the listing that you are getting in your zip code and the folks in that listing. The important thing is to talk to more than one agent and make them compete for your business.
