Haven't watched anything on TV about this Fort Hood thing until just a few minutes ago. Just picked away at the net and listened to the radio a bit up until now. I have been totally totally baffled by the spin that both the media and the military have been putting on this thing.
Anyway, turned on the TV and there was little old Joe Lieberman just talking away like a normal person saying the obvious and asking why this shouldn't be viewed and approached as terrorist attack on the United States. Thank you Joe for confirming the obvious in the midst of all this other stuff. Probably the 911 attackers or kamakaze pilots had some pscyhological problems too. So what? They were what they were.
Look, there is a dumbing down going on here. Obama and the libs dont want this thing viewed as a terrorist attack on the US because it happened on his watch. The military does not want it viewed as a terrorist attack because it would be an acknowledgement that we have soldiers within our ranks who are either collaborating with or sympathising with the enemy and are in fact the enemy themselves.
I am not calling for anything other than what the facts will ultimately show so no need to caution me there. On the other, hand WTF is going on here by dumbing this thing down and lecturing everyone on how not all muslims are like that. Skip the lectures. We know that. We also know there are collaborators in all wars. Smarten up and at least come at this thing with that as a a possibility. If you cant acknowledge that as a possibility then how in hell can you be on the look-out for it. Apparently they weren't is the answer.
We have had a terrorist attack at Fort Hood of a massive scale under Obama's watch. Deal with it for what it is.
