As we enter the Vice Presidential season, everyone is cordially invited to think Condi, however remote the chances might be.
Thanking you in advance for ...
How about we just set something in motion, like every hour on the hour say "Draft Condi For VP" three times - get the universe going!
You know how in the general election debates they have some debates where the VP candidates debate each other. Just suppose for giggles that Obama ended out debating Condi. We will find out who is smart and articulate on foreign policy and ready to go on day one dealing with foreign leaders. And she is not going to be wasting any of her energy whining about getting first question or crowing about being the first black on the ticket. She would kick his ass or anyone elses as well. Love that woman. She's da man.
Okay, it is all fantasy. McCain will pick some mr. boring but sufficient conservative and young.
Condi Rice has too much of a tie in with Bush, McCain is going to have a rough time as it is distancing hisself from Bush. Besides what did she accomblish as the National Security Advisor or as Secretary of State?

I have stated that it is not going to happen for a number of reasons. Nevertheless I will leave Madeline Albright to you.
Bush is like a bad case of herpes - there's no cure and it keeps coming back. Therefore, it won't matter what McCain does, he won't be able to get rid of The Bush.
Now, Condi, on the other hand, with the exception of those who scream Neo-Con in theatres to force a quick exit, has a pretty darn good reputation both domestically and globally. She would be an asset.

Na, I think they (the left) has demonized Condi as well as everyone else in this administration if not to the so called moderates to themselves. I would think if they are going to go with a minority that Lt. Gov. Steele or Watts would be a better pick. IMHO this is wrong, but the perception is that McCain is already strong on the Foriegn Affairs end and needs a strong Domestic running mate. If he goes with a Governor or Ex Governor I would think that Ex NY Governor Pataki would be a good fit.
Nope, Lt. Governor Michael Steele. But I still disagree with you on the Condi characterization. She is an admirable woman. Pataki has white man disease.

My favorite line from Condi:
The Steel Princess was on Fox being interviewed by O'Reilly (O'Reilly loves her but has to do the fair and balanced charade). O'Reilley starts razzing her a little for being black but siding with the Republicans and points out the fact that some blacks think she is a traitor for being republican or something like that. Just as smooth as a cucumber she says, "Bill, I have been black for a long time and I don't need anyone telling me how to be black."
Priceless. Love that woman. No whining about always getting the first question (you think Margaret Thatcher whined about that), and a lot of people dont have the balls to appear with Reilly.
