On magazines get all the free ones but do not read them during working hours unless it is in the bathroom or in the car while waiting. These are the three I like best and there are others.

Broker World is a good magazine with a very cheap subscription rate. You can read A.M. Best at your local library for free.

I would recommend Life Insurance Selling magazine. It is free;just google the title. There is a great article in this months issue regarding selling term insurance.

Go to NAIFA just google it, it is probably the only resource you'll need in regards to developing you sales skills and it is the only national organization that caters to insurance and financial professionals. If you're new focus on the YAT info.

NAIFA, NALU, etc. are a waste of time - and money.
