FYI, I just received a letter:
Unicare will be eliminating commissions on Enhanced and Enhanced Plus (Private Fee for Service) plans as of 08/01/2008.
The plan design has resulted in very high loss ratios.
The negative financial impact of this business has forced them to make a difficult decision.
These plans accounted for 40% of all new Private Fee for Service sales during the Open Enrollment Period.
