My voice is about gone. I have an appointment tonight and I have to talk on the phone all day today. I really need my voice back.

My question to you, is do you know a trick to get my voice back?

I'm not going to cancel my appointment. Unless it goes away all the way.

I know some of you have some kind of a trick to get your voice back to normal. Please share.

Don't talk on the phone all day. Surely your business won't go under if you take a day off from calling

Maybe it'll come back by tonight***fingers crossed***

Fresh out of challah, can I substitute a poppy seed bagel instead?

Hot tea with lemon and honey is what I have heard as well.

My wife only wishes I would loose my voice!

No. The only challah substitute for that recipe is a combination (equal parts) of wheat flour, kosher salt and homing pigeons.

Old Maine recipe: Loon Stew.

Take plucked loon and place in kettle of boiling water. Place stone in bottom of kettle. Turn down and let it simmer and parboil for ten to twelve hours.

Check for doneness with a stick. You take stick and poke the stone. When the stone is tender, so is the loon.

Two things:

1. A voice coach told me that a shot of courvoisier will clear you up for 15 minutes.
2. Get "Set your voice free" by Roger Love, it'll help in the future. I can train for 8 hours straight five days in a row and get through it all with ease.

You can get it used for a buck on amazon, here's the link and the description.

My wife was a professional singer and I was a professional sound engineer for 21 years and I have seen literally hundreds of musicians use this and it works! If for some strange reason it doesn't work for you, add some licorice to it.

This answer might be late, since you've probably gotten your voice back, but, here it goes:

Bring either a laptop computer or a pad of paper with you. Write/Type your words, as you would be speaking. Then, have your prospect read it, and respond.

Only thing is, you need to type/write quickly.
