Hello,

Who can tell me what companies I need for med supp. and MA in San Jose, CA?

Is there a good FMO-either local or othwerwise that knows the Northern CA, Santa Clara county market and can advise me?

Is it better to go through a local FMO for the medicare market?

I have been told to go to medicare.gov and decide from there. I checked out the MA companies, there are many different types and prices without supporting data like co-pays, etc. Which ones do I need? Is there a systematic way to decide?

What do I need for med supp?

Go with simply the cheapest or cheapest with name recognition? Please talk to me?

For MA I am with UHC already. Is that all I will need? If not who/how can I decide which other ones to add?

Are the med supp companies that I need, example Blue Shield of CA, all direct contracts, hence no local or national FMO's marketing to me?

I have already talked to National FMO's and feel they don't really know my market and offer their favorite company. They don't even know who Kaiser is, which a a major player in my area.

This medicare market is quite a maze to me, please somebody take the mystery out of this for me?
