What are the requirements in order to sell MA plans and how does a person get started?

Find a company willing to take you at this late date, pass background checks, get appointed, Take and pass AHIP exam $100 out of your pocket, Take company specific training and pass. You could probably start in January. OEP Open Enrollment Period is from Jan. 1 to March 31 where people can make 1 like change to their plans.

For MA I only did UHC. Took their training and saved the $100.

Yes, he could do that, but, unless he had someone going along on appointments to train and oversee, he would be unable to fully explain the plans being sold.
