What type of liscense to sell annuities

I have my life and health liscense in the state of michigan. I want to begin to sell annuities do I need a series liscense to do this?

For fixed and indexed annuities, your life license will do it most states. Variable is another ballgame.

Annuities is where its at right now AND ALL YOU NEED IT THE GOOD old Life & Health License. Can do quite well in a highly competitive market! The variable world requires a security license, then you have to have a Broker Dealer relationship which can get tricky (Haircuts) and compliance OR if you can go the IAR under an RIA situation that may be the wave of the future for many Annuity folks...
