I sent this email to my Anthem Blue Cross RSM last Tuesday:

Subject - Need to Hire

Craig:

Can you refer someone to me? I’d like to hire someone to wait on hold with your company so I can get some work done.

You're not supposed to sit there and play with yourself or watch internet porn while you're on hold.

Take that time to catch up on your uw guides, think pleasant thoughts, mentally picture Obama leading the country in the right direction, so on and so forth.

I am hearing a lot of carriers have a freeze on any new hiring.

Anthem just laid off 1500. That explains the hold times.

Today I called agent support, 19 minutes if I wanted to wait.

I called CA Anthem U/W this afternoon to find out the rate-up on fake boobs. On hold for 20 mins. No one ever picked up. I finally emailed the local Anthem rep. He got back to me in 3 minutes... 25%. Will probably end up with Aetna. No rate-up for silicone. But it will be client's choice. Auto-decline with Shield and HealthNet.

Since we are legally and technically field underwriters I suppose it is our job to personally determine if boobs are real or fake, but my first, current, and very expensive wife told me I better not go there!

You single guys... how I sometimes envy you !!!!
