What would you do?
Assuming you would open the door, and she introduced herself:
Would you shake her hand if she reached out to you? (gosh, can you imagine the germs?) I would say no.
How would you respond if she "asked for your vote?" I would more likely give her a piece of my mind, in as polite a way as possible
If you were on the phone at the time, what would you tell the other person on the line - how would you describe the event? Oh, mon cheri, there's a woman here who claims there's a vast right-wing conspiracy out to get her and her husband, who has accomplished absolutely nothing during her years as the junior senator from New York, who now claims that she has 35 years of experience being an elected official's wife, and that qualifies her for President. Goodbye, Mrs. Clinton. Why don't you go home and bake some cookies. And don't forget to put the sugar in.
"With a Secret Service detail driving alongside, she popped in on more than half a dozen homes to the delight of some, but to the bewilderment of others unprepared to meet her. One woman in the midst of a conversation on a hot-pink cellphone kept it to her ear even as Clinton shook her hand and asked for her vote."
