Help! I have created an llc & am starting an agency. I am trying to decide where to focus. I have 15 years experience in various areas including group health, voluntary benefits and p&c. I am currently an agency producer with a good friend that owns a Farmers agency. I would like to continue to produce for him while building my own agency that focuses on small group employee benefits. My concern is that the health insurance will some day go to a single pay system and question what the agency role will play in this. Should I focus more on voluntary benefits, p&c, group health & life or go for the full service agency & offer all that I am licensed to offer? I feel like I am spinning my wheels in this decision process.

I just feel that being a one trick pony fits my needs. I feel i know all things ind. health. I tried doing life di and group along with indy health but i sucked at it... spread to thin... when i focused on only one product everything fell into place.

Just my thoughts... i just never could hold it all together doing more than one, but i know allot of people on here do it all
