Not funny at all, to me. Regarding specifically the anti-Christian parts, I really think this fits MSNBC et. al. much better. Remember, the libs haven't a clue that they don't even have a clue (yes, that's what I meant, otherwise it bodes much worse for them) that they not only see everything backward and upside down, but they blame OTHERS for what THEY are guilty of. Ever noticed that? It's a good strategy and has worked for thousands of years. Hopefully folks are catchin' on. Those anti-Christian slides are a great example, from one who does not enjoy that type of humor. Here, think about this: Who do you think would be more likely to post those anti-Christian slides, me? or Al? I'm the FOX guy, Al is not.

...she appears to be a most defenceless animal; and even when those weapons are shewn and extended for her defence, they appear weak and contemptible; but their wounds however small, are decisive and fatal:—Conscious of this, she never wounds till she has generously given notice, even to her enemy, and cautioned him against the danger of treading on her.—Was I wrong, Sir, in thinking this a strong picture of the temper and conduct of America? -- Benjamin Franklin

There's no question that FOX's prime-time voices come from the right. Moreover, its owner, Rupert Murdoch is a staunch conservative, and its first and only CEO, Roger Ailes, is a veteran of Republican media wars.
But MSNBC in prime-time has its own lineup of commentators - all of whom are on the left side of the spectrum, some of whom met with the president the White House this week.
So why is the White House out to "de-legitimize" FOX? Not because it has opinions, but because its opinion voices are so hostile to President Obama - and because FOX News is, as it has been for a decade, by far the most watched of the cable news networks. In fact, its ratings have increased 13 percent this summer. So if FOX is feeling any pain from the White House's stance, it's crying all the way to the bank.
The spur: Executives at other news organizations, including The New York Times, had publicly said that their newsrooms had not been fast enough in following stories Fox News had been heavily covering through the summer and fall — namely, the focus on past statements and affiliations of White House adviser Van Jones that ultimately led to his resignation and questions surrounding the community activist group ACORN.
Blogger Donald Sensing has a fascinating analysis of President Obama's war against Fox News. He describes the effort as "directly out of the Saul Alinsky playbook." Alinsky was the author of "Rules for Radicals," bible of left-wing community organizers. One of his rules, or "power tactics": "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Sensing analyzes how Obama is carrying out this advice...
I find it quite interesting that Obama the other day at a fundraiser declared that Republicans "do what they're told", and this, coming from a man who apparently can't speak without the George Soros earpiece telling him what to say. What a puppet:
"The salvos by administration officials have rallied liberals who complain that the channel has a conservative agenda. The activist group MoveOn instantly jumped in the fray, urging Democrats to stay off Fox News programs."

Seems that the Dems are the ones who are to do "as they're told" - with George Soros' permission, of course!
Six months ago the complaint was that there was no unity among the Repubs. Now the complaint is that they are all standing together. Sounds to me like he is using and intellectual, backhanded way of chiding the dems for not doing what they are told.

Looks like CNN will have to be spending some dough, getting more blonds or hot men to save themselves. What do you think they will do first? Shuffle the hosts? Get more big-breasted women? Show more leg?
Desperate times call for desperate measures. Guesses?

I wonder how much further they would drop without Lou Dobbs? He is the only person over there that has some guts and tells it like it is. Don't always agree with him, but he has integrity.

CNN has been bordering more and more on irrelevant for years. They really went to heck in a hand basket when they lost people like Lynn Russell - I miss her, she was a great news reader.
On a side note, Russell is a carry conceal permit holder, and usually carries a Sig Sauer. You have to respect that in a woman. The chit chat at CNN must have been interesting when she worked there.
Does it strike anyone that all the hullabaloo is over the news reporters, not the news makers? My late father graduated with his degree from one of the most liberal universities in the southwest and even with that spin on things he always used to say that it was a disgrace when the reporters were trying to make news, instead of reporting it.

In addition to the problem of replacing news with made up news there is the problem of replacing news with entertainment.
"Ladies and Gentleman we have late breaking news from the Pentagon. We are getting reports that Iran has fired over 200 Russian-made Babushka missiles into Israel and Syrian tanks have occupied the Gonad Heights. Israeli fighter jets are reportedly over Iranian territory as we speak. We will be bringing you all the late breaking news on this development throughout the day unless we need to break away to cover a car chase in Simi Valley. We report - you decide."
I believe that in the grand scheme of things, the media is only important to a very small segment of the populace: politicians and media. I listen to the talk shows all day on the road, and each has their own special spin on the world-- some are very convincing. But when I get home at night, my circle consists of my family and home, the pets and our over all well being. What the media and politicians did all day doesn't have one iota of importance to us. Tomorrow, the cycle starts all over again...
That is what was so pathetically funny about the Obama campaign. Early on he would always be surrounded by zombies holding posters that said, simply "Change".
When people rightfully asked "WTF?" -what kind of change? That makes no sense.
Their response was to re-do the posters to "Change -you can believe in."
