And...I have an HSA and it has worked out well.

Insurance is serious business and sometimes guys will cut up to relax. An HSA is the latest in saving health care costs. Basically you are getting just major medical with a deductible (one per family) to meet before any benefits are available. You open a bank account to deposit money pre-tax like an IRA. The bank gives you a debit card to use for out of pocket medical expenses under the deductible. The money comes out tax-free.
When you are 59 1/2 you can withdraw all the money without penalty. By the way, you can add every year up to your deductible (max 5k) and it rolls over. You stay healthy and you save money.

I shop on somarco's site using my wife's Dell laptop...

Then I buy directly from the carrier using our Macintosh.

No problem. I use super cookies. They are transmitted through the keyboard to your fingers and on to your wifes Mac.

BTW, can you still get parts for the Mac? I heard they were out of business . . .

The HSA is actually a retro policy dating back to the mid to late 70's.

Not all HDHP's work the same. Some have an embedded deductible while others aggregate.

Good Grief, Rabbi.......... turn in your WalMart insurance-license and at least go the ONE of the 8,567,987 websites on HSA's (try Google) and learn the basics of this business........

....... or, at least up your E&O aggregates.

Do you mind waiting 2-3 hours before you respond to give us a chance?

Set your clock ahead by 3 hours then you can compete with us east coast guys.

Of course you get the board all to yourself after 10PM or so (Eastern). Makes me wonder if you guys ever sleep when I see posts at 2 AM.
