Who do you think are the top three "Gurus"?

Criteria are whatever you want to use. Knowledge. Innovation, Experience, Track record of success, Honesty...whatever.

This is NOT meant to be a bashing thread for those that you don't pick. Keep comments positive.

Why did I create this thread? I don't know. I guess I'm curious to see what Board members think.

One last thing. Obviously, since I have a 62,000-member Association, I must leave myself out of the voting (not that I would get any votes anyhow).

I'd say Mark Griffin.

He's the only one I can recall who's posted beneficial content without being condescending or insulting and doesn't seem to have a superiority complex.

Character is an important quality for a leader.

FWIW, I can't limit it to just 3 so I will not post my fave's. And like the Academy awards, I don't want to leave anyone out.

This is purely opinion. If I had to pick two people besides myself, it would be Somarco and Rob Liano.

My opinion is more meaningul than anyone elses, so you can stop voting.

I want to wait until the talent and swimsuit competition.

In all honesty kind of a tough question to answer truly. Do you go with the guys you agree with most or do you look at those you disagree with most who through their arguement, make you rethink your position?

As far as product knowledge, I haven't seen a convincing arguement to get me to rethink a position I currently hold. However, I do find posters experiences with vendors or markets to be very helpful. Anytime somebody can save me the pain by explaining what they've gone through, I always appreicate that.

Some how I left John P off that list. John has had a huge direct impact on my business both before and after starting the association. He first turned me on to the predictive dialer system that has resulted in dramatic efficiency improvement in my business. Through the association, he lowered my E&O bill this year by over $300. He helped me create a website for my business, gave me the B2B flyer template that I now use (works better than the old one I had as far as call backs), plus other discounts on things I was already using through the assocation. So I'll add John to that list!

Interesting thing about posting on a topic like this, you run the risk of not only leaving good agents out, but others will form opinions of you based on the people that you pick.

I forgot to add Healthagent to my list, but after taking my own advice, I will withdraw my list entirely.

Actually, these are such subjective assertions, that this should really be in fight club. I didn't realize that Chumps was this silly.
