Male LTC rates would be lower. It seems they would sell better. Besides tradition, does anybody know why LTC (and Med Supp) rates are unisex?...

I can only address Med Supp rates. Not every carrier has unisex rates.

In California, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Health Net and others are unisex. United World and Lincoln Heritage are sex based and for women I usually have a big advantage in the 70+ age range.
