Hey Forum,
I had a potential client that owns a commercial cleaning business. They don't carry worker's comp because everyone is a 1099 employee.
He said recently a few of the companies have asked them if they carry worker's comp and someone told them they could get a "owner's umbrella" for worker's comp.
Does anyone know about this or if this would need to go to one of our E&S carriers? Could we simply go to Auto-Owners, Donegal or Grange?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
