Search and Save

So basically you put all drs in and it prepopulates all the plans that drs on ? They use Connecture for drug formularies so can’t be more accurate. I played with it once and despised the format. It was like using MS dos to windows . It looked so plain . Why’s it so slow ? I’m sure there aware if it . Why don’t they fix the speed ?

The old (last month) provider search would list every plan the doctor accepts while on the provider search screen. The updated system will show on the MAPD screen how many of the doctors you listed are in each plan. So if you listed 5 doctors, under the doctors column while on the plan page, it will show how many of those doctors are in the plan. If it's all 5, it will have the number 5. If it's 4, it will have the number 4 and so on. You can click a drop down and it will show which doctors are in that particular plan.

I personally like the format as it pertains to the prescription costs. It shows what they will pay for each medication month by month.

However, this new provider search takes longer than the prior format. I was told the developer said it has to pull 100's of plan codes into the provider search and it just takes time to do that. I'm not technical enough to know how it all works, but I feel like there has to be a way to speed it up.

I am not a techie but i think they need a bigger server boat.

S&S is a lifesaver for anyone who sells MAPD. I couldn’t imagine going back to each provider to check doctors. Or use the highly inaccurate Connecture to search Drs.

The new system is a game changer. They just need to get some of the bugs out.

The biggest bug right now is how long it takes. I have been re-entering providers that were saved in the old system. Had one with 10 doctors and it took better than 15 minutes. That’s unacceptable

I never saved their doctors in the old system. They are in my CRM.

It's not a matter of them being saved in the old system. It's after doing the search and you drag and drop to the box (PCP or Specialist), the system takes forever before you can type in the next doctor.

Received this message from them earlier today (good news in my opinion when you are talking with 20 or more people per day in AEP):

We've had a lot of complaints. Scott has decided to add the old tab back so if an agent wants to see providers without them loading into the plans it will show that.
The new tab will be there too, but it will just be a filter so you can add providers there if you want it to filter.
Sorry for the hassle!
It should be back up sometime today!
