Part A:
Part A premiums will be reduced for those who did not have enough quarters to qualify for coverage to $409 per month or $224, depending on how many quarters they paid in.
The Part A deductible will increase $44 to $1,260, covering days 1-60.
Days 61-90 in the hospital will be $315 per day and 91-150 will be $630 per day (lifetime reserve days)
Skilled nursing co-payments will also increase to $157.50 for days 21-100.
Part B:
Part B remains unchanged with most beneficiaries paying $104.90 per month and an annual deductible of $147.
Those who have higher incomes (less than 5% of Medicare beneficiaries) will still pay a higher monthly premium, but at the same rates as 2014.
