Yes sir. Just was informed my company did this and I would hope that's not an industry standard since it is basically a death payout and uncontrolled lapse for us.

Yes, they will as long as it's within the first year.

I have done several of these and do not recall them being lapses.

Curious as to why it would matter to the agent?
