And Now, The Selling Of Obamacare...

Wearing pink shoes for a cause......no problem.
Most watch sports to escape the real world and politics.
Plus, Hernandez might not be the best role model for HHS

I read somewhere else that they expect a net total of 7 million to gain coverage when all is said and done for 2014.

In other words, of the 30-45 million uninsured, we're only helping 15-25% of them (net) gain coverage. For A LOT of money.

PCIP numbers looked bad on a per capita cost basis, but this whole thing is for the birds.

Most people gaining coverage will get it through their states expanded Medicaid program.

Apparently HHS's Kathleen Sebelius was successful in "raising" funds from insurance companies that want to be on state exchanges. Today, she sent $150,000,000 to Community Health Centers to promote ObamaCare.

In a press briefing Wednesday, White House spokesman Jay Carney gave examples of how community health centers will use their funds...

"In New Mexico and South Dakota ... health centers will be reaching individuals at summer and fall county fairs and rodeos to make sure they know about and sign up for the opportunities available to them in the new marketplaces."

RODEOS? :D

Can you name a better place to "STEER" them?

I found this article interesting for a couple reasons:
Enroll America Gears Up for National Outreach Effort, Will Add Hundreds of Staff | AIS Health

We will scale back between enrollment periods, but we won’t stop activities. People who are eligible for Medicaid can sign up all year long, so won’t stop activities.

Media reports last year quoted Aetna Inc. and UnitedHealth Group as readily admitting they gave $100,000 and $50,000, respectively, to Enroll America’s $100 million fund drive. A Bloomberg report on Nov. 29, 2012, said insurers were supporting the work of Enroll America “to make people aware of the law’s benefits and help them enroll in exchanges.”

MOOOOO! LOL.

I can hear Enroll America calling Kathleen Sebelius after receiving the donations and saying, "We've got a couple of LIVE ONES! See what YOU can get out of them." Of course we know, "The Rest Of The Story" (ala Paul Harvey).
