Big People Insurance

Lots of fully underwritten carriers will accept "big" people.

Just don't be surprised by the table rating. Depending on exactly how big they are, thus how heavily rated, and the amount of coverage a fully underwritten plan may be a better option than a SI policy with no ht/wt table.

Excess weight, particularly in the area of 5'10 and 350 lbs., affects morbidity and mortality. They are going to pay more than the guy who is 5'10 and 160.

What he said. While I do get surprised periodically, table rating should be figured in and quoted. If the pi is truthful and of course we asked pointed and direct questions. Many times agents are afraid to quote rated rates.

Americo has a simplified issue term policy for up to $400k face that has extremely generous build tables. Down side is there is no conversion option. There is a cash back option, waiver of premium, accidental death, and disability income riders available as well.
