Can I cold call for seminars

Hello,
I'm cold calling T65 lists to attend educational seminars for Supp and MAPD offering coffee and breakfast items? Is this all on the up and up in terms of Medicare marketing guidelines? And if so, what's not? Thanks guys

The correct answer is both yes and no.

Supps are regulated by the state. Not CMS. You can call pretty much how you want as far as supps go.

MAPD, MA and PDP are different animals. You mentioned breakfast items. The rules say no meals but snacks are ok. Coffee and cookies would be ok. Coffee and a meal would not. Also no cold calling, door knocking etc. with MAPD. Seminars are ok.

On top of all this, you've got certain companies that have their on rules. UHC says absolutely no cold calling. Either for supps or MAPD.
