Claim Rep asking me what cars own

I had a small accident and it was my fault, backed into car in parking lot.It was a used truck I was picking up and I had 30 days to add the insurance which I did. As the claim was making it through the process she must have looked up somehow what cars that are titled to me that I do have insurance on but do not drive. Just do not understand where she is getting at, and yes I have asked and get no real answer.any thoughts

It is amazing what answers you get when asking a simple question. The Claim rep is doing her job, finding out if there are additional risks in your household which are not on the policy, asking if there are additional drivers. Yes, your new purchase is covered under most auto policies but you would be surprised how often we are notified 6 months after a purchase about needing coverage because they forgot.

I had 30 days to add the insurance

Take another look in your policy and make sure it's 30 days. Some insurance companies have reduced that automatic coverage period.
