Client Wanting DI Insurance

People will laugh but...Unum.

They have a full suite of DI products and they write blue collar to white collar.

It's going to be expensive.
 
I changed him to a non-smoker with IM and the premium for $850 per month dropped from $123 to $99. I don't think it is the smoking necessarily. At least not with IM. :skeptical:

I'm just saying your client's profile for DI is very rare. There aren't many people buying DI at 56, let alone smokers or blue-collar workers. Smokers usually have other health issues at 56 that will cause them to be declined/rated/etc.
 
I wrote a younger guy, 35, who owns a glass company, he does all the labor and wrote with Principal. Benefit was limited to 5 years.
