1)He admitted himself in for rehab 10 years ago for cocaine use. Never touched it since.

2) He is on a c-pap machine for sleep apnea Height & weight fine

Is on to meds for anexiety

He wants about $500K

The CPap is a bigger issue. Get all the details on that first. Sleep studies, any O2, dates etc. Details on the others as well. Then go to a good brokerage. A good cover letter will go a long way on the drug issue if it is even a question.

You nailed it! on the cover letter, make sure to point out he's been clean for 10 years, turned his life around, volunteers for charities, goes to church etc. Paint a nice pretty picture for the underwiter..

He's probably going to be table rated, I would do preliminary on him and talk to several carriers UW dept and see what they say. If Banner looks favorable their table ratings are based std plus, they are really helpful in these cases.
