What is phase 3 you say?

Well, we must fist revisit phase 1 and 2, and the "seasons of obamacare"

Phase 1 - Write it
Phase 2 - Verify payment and AOR status
Phase 3 - Income documentation is due / Save the biz again

Is everyone else now consumed with tracking down your clients and helping them submit income or Citizenship docs? I have 85 on my list, about 1/3rd of the way thru, and already burnt.

Saving the business takes on a whole new meaning this year when you don't have the opportunity to write SEP biz and get paid to replace those that naturally fall off the books, or cancel because you ignore phase 3.

Once phase 3 ends, I am done dun dunn.

During Phase 3 of 2014 O.E. I learned to help clients by directing them to the information...teaching them "how to fish" instead of doing the work for them.

Only first-timer Marketplace clients contact me now when they receive the letter from HC.gov. One yesterday needed to know how to prove to the Marketplace that he's not on Medicaid. I sent him the Phone/Address of his closet Illinois DHS office. He'll go there, get a letter, and upload or mail it to Healthcare.gov.

Hopefully there'll be only be 1 more year of this silly crap.
