Go back to Med Sup after MA if the carrier no longer writes sup?

Hasn't happened yet but I could potentially have this situation--clients are in Delaware. First 5 years Med Sup plus PDP but they've now gone MAPD. The carrier I had their sup with initially (Shenandoah) no longer writes Med Sup in DE. My understanding is that to use the guaranteed issue reversion that the client has to go back to the exact same plan (Plan G in this case) and exact same carrier. The carrier is still servicing their existing MedSup base. Would they have to take them back? Would they get the guaranteed issue right with a different carrier? Just looking to see if anyone else has run into this before. Thanks.

Thanks Fisher--yes, within the 12 months. Sounds good--if they flip back we'll find the best sup rate and put them with that carrier
