How Do I Qualify for Long Term Care Insurance?

I was told I didn't qualify for long term care insurance because of my medical history. I did have cancer surgery back then but I already completed the treatment with chemo and radiation. Am I not allowed to have one at all?

You may be able to qualify for a policy after a period of time has passed since your last chemo or radiation treatment.

The amount of time that must pass varies from company to company and depends upon what type of cancer you had and what stage it was.

Some companies are much more likely to insure a cancer survivor than others.
