How To Sell P&C On The Side

Hello All,

I am selling life and health right now as an independent contractor, and have some great leads. I am also licensed in P&C, and have the ok through my company to sell it. So my question is how do I sell some on the side without having to commit into opening my own agency? I have heard about independent agencies commission splitting, but how to I approach them? I started out in my career selling mostly P&C so I wouldn't have a problem with the sales or minor servicing. Any ideas would be great!
