You ramble, you are incoherent and it appears argumentative.

If the person isn't interested in your presentation/pitch/whatever you want to call it, then stop. I realized a long time ago, you will never win against whatever else has their interest at the moment. Instead find a more interested prospect.

I just knew this was going to turn into a referendum on me. Well as youve made it clear you have ad hom, maybe you are just not very intelligent or articulate. Things that appear elementary to me, as really not that simple for you to grasp. As for being argumentative, it appears you are taking a pointed swipe at someone for no good reason. Maybe this is because you arent enjoying work, and perhaps just dont actively listen or comprehend other people.

Furthermore, on the subject of "just stopping"- you dont seem to believe in objection handling. I havent met many competent salesmen who share that ethos.

Lastly, and this is just a suggestion, read through something to learn or to add to the discussion and not to attack the poster. The fact is, the concept of what i am saying may appear alien to you, but its really a simple thing, explained exhaustively. If you dont understand it, then read through it and think about it. If you dont know how to do that, then I fear for your job opportunities in this game.

Ive repeatedly won their interest, over numerous other distractions, and indeed that is what this thread is about.

Well you would need to ask the dozens of people who tick them...

I guess the obvious answer is it crystallises a diverse array of opinions, into a simple equation of conflicting views, that can then be set out in relationship to each other, in a visually appealing display.
