I have a client who would like to roll over his IRA. How would I go about creating a business relationship with somebody to start a referral based business with somebody on this?

I never asked him. If it's an annuity where would I go? Linked in? I am of course licensed to sell fixed annuities but I've never sold one and don't have anybody to go with so I can learn.

What firm do you work for? You don't have a senior agent you can go out with?

plus you need to consider his age. If he's young, rolling over a 401k into a fix product may not be a good fit. Maybe a variable will be better. Are you series 6 lic?

I am right now completely independent under Ritter and another Imo called Premier. I signed him and his wife up to life insurance policies. At the end of the appointment he asked me if I could help him rollover his IRA and I told him I would find somebody who could help him with that since I've never done any work regarding annuities and have no series 6/7 licenses yet. I want to get them but right now I don't know if it would spread me too thin to do annuities and securities as well. I have read several of the study books on the series 6/7 licenses just to understand what they would cover.
