Company X is certified for ahip/mapd and refers a client to me. I write that client (company x never participated in the sales presentation) and get paid $500 true up (close enough) and a $200 override w/ UHC, Aetna, Humana, etc. Can I split that $700 commission 50/50 with Company X? Is the answer different for only the $500 street level commission? Is the answer different based on the specific insurer?

No you cannot do this. This is considered a finder fee and not only does Medicare have rules on it but so does each state.
