It just blows me away that Dodd, Frank, Waters, Rangel, etc ever get re elected in the first place. Man, how dumb and misinformed do you need to be to vote for any of these jerks?

Winter, Dodd has been Kennedy's womanizing and drinking buddy for eons. He wants his pal to share his utopian socialist masterpiece with him. In his mind it will be his and Dodd's historic legacy.

This bill has no numbers with it.

So Kennedy decided to release a proposal that is nothing more than bullet points. He does not go into detail of how much the bill will cost or how he will fund it.

The cost of this type of proposal is so astronomical.

Obummer's arguments are bouncing all over the place, fast and loose with the numbers.

Just last week he was sticking to the argument that his gig would be "revenue neutral" due to all the savings he was going to put in place. Then the indendendent Congressional Budget Office came out with a report saying that at a minimum it would add a trillion to the deficit, more if medicaid is expanded. Now Barry is back on the stump with the "well, we spent a trillion in Iraq" routine.

He warned the AMA that our health system could "go the way of General Motors." No lie there. He is certainly doing his part.
