She willingly and knowingly put a hot liquid between her legs. The temperature is irrelevant. She was what, 80 something at the time? If she didn't know coffee was hot at that point in her life, she had bigger issues that the temperature of McDonald's coffee.
I'm sure you're making fun of the little old lady who sued McDonald's because her coffee was too hot.
What a lot of people do not know (because the *** newscasters didn't bother to research/report this factoid) is the fact that the coffee was approximately 185 degrees.
