Can anyone share what the commission is for a Med Supp in Missouri with Prosperity Life (SBLI) when using the anniversary rule and for someone over the age of 80? Evidently my upline can't provide this information because they go through another IMO (Amerilife) for the contract and Amerilife won't provide that info until the contracting process has started.

The problem is I'm trying to determine if it's even worth the hassle to get a non-resident license in Missouri to take care of these two clients. They've been clients for close to 15 years and have moved to Missouri. Taking advantage of the anniversary rule will benefit them. But if the carrier doesn't pay much in the way of commission for someone of this age and using the anniversary rule, then I'd like to know so I don't go through the hassle of getting a non-res and completing contracting paperwork. And I certainly don;t won't to pay for a non-res just to find out what the commission is.

TIA

Caveat, not an agent.

You might try talking with agent support at Senior Marketing Specialists in Columbia Mo to see if they would help you.

It should be 22%. But GI doesn't pay much. $25

Thanks Todd. At best it appears it's 10% since these clients are over 80. Also, any idea if they consider using the anniversary rule as GI or open enrollment?

What about Anthem or AARP?

Anthem will let them move to Plan N too. Even if they aren't on N.

I write a lot of MO biz so happy to brainstorm if you want.

I appreciate the offer to help. Neither Anthem nor AARP are competitive with their current rates. There are only a few carriers who are. They had already spoken to an agent in MO who is a friend of a friend. They wanted to give me an opportunity to help them since they've been with me so long. I told them yesterday to just go with the friend of the friend.

I get 32% in Michigan, but that's not your question
